Baader Meinhof Complex, The (2008)

IMDB rating: 7.40

Plot: Germany in the 1970s: Murderous bomb attacks, the threat of terrorism and the fear of the enemy inside are rocking the very foundations of the yet fragile German democracy. The radicalised children of the Nazi generation lead by Andreas Baader, Ulrike Meinhof and Gudrun Ensslin are fighting a violent war against what they perceive as the new face of fascism: American imperialism supported by the German establishment, many of whom have a Nazi past. Their aim is to create a more human society but by employing inhuman means they not only spread terror and bloodshed, they also lose their own humanity. The man who understands them is also their hunter: the head of the German police force Horst Herold. And while he succeeds in his relentless pursuit of the young terrorists, he knows he’s only dealing with the tip of the iceberg.

Finding a location in Berlin?
Hi

Is anybody Local to Berlin; or knows Berlin very well? I am travelling there in a few weeks and need to track a location down.

Ive seen the film "The Baader Meinhof Complex" and would like to see Ulrike Mienhof’s gravestone.
Ive been on Google Maps and tracked the location to:

Heilig-Kreuz-Kirchhof, Mariendorf,
Cemetery, which I believe is North of Tegel Airport.
Ive found U-Bhan stations around the area although they look a distance away. Does anybody know if the cemetery is in realistic walking distance; and how long it would take to walk from the nearest U-Bhan Station?

Also is the cemetery large; is her grave easy to locate. Ive tracked down its in "Zone A"? Does anybody know where that is in the cemetery?

Any help would be much appreciated

In reality Ulrike Meinhof is burried in the city of Stuttgart not in Berlin so you won’t find her gravestone there.
The burial was very controvers at the time the major of Stuttgart defended the right of the terrorists to get a burial place and said that with the dead even terrorists aren’t to be considered as public ennemies anymore

Cinderella Man
Cinderella Man (2005)

IMDB rating: 8.00

Plot: During the Great Depression, a common-man hero, James J. Braddock—a.k.a. the Cinderella Man—was to become one of the most surprising sports legends in history. By the early 1930s, the impoverished ex-prizefighter was seemingly as broken-down, beaten-up and out-of-luck as much of the rest of the American populace who had hit rock bottom. His career appeared to be finished, he was unable to pay the bills, the only thing that mattered to him—his family—was in danger, and he was even forced to go on Public Relief. But deep inside, Jim Braddock never relinquished his determination. Driven by love, honor and an incredible dose of grit, he willed an impossible dream to come true. In a last-chance bid to help his family, Braddock returned to the ring. No one thought he had a shot. However Braddock, fueled by something beyond mere competition, kept winning. Suddenly, the ordinary working man became the mythic athlete. Carrying the hopes and dreams of the disenfranchised on his shoulders, Braddock rocketed through the ranks, until this underdog chose to do the unthinkable: take on the heavyweight champ of the world, the unstoppable Max Baer, renowned for having killed two men in the ring.

Is this story any good 2?
Scourge felt soaked rocks beneath his pads, they soon began to crumble and become gravel. The water soaked up through the gravel, onto his ankles and up his legs. The gooey gray water touched his belly fur and Scourge yowled and groaned in protest. Scourge tried to move his legs but it was as if struggling in concrete. The gravely water reached his nose and Scourge sputtered and gasped for breath. Giving one last yowl he disappeared under the breath taking gravel mush, forever gone. He heard a soft whisper as he was under the gravel, and it said

Plot: Capitalizing on his fame as the star of “Hogan’s Heroes,” Bob Crane (Greg Kinnear) dove into the freewheeling spirit of the 60s and 70s with relish, having affairs with numerous women. Looking for a new Nikon lens?
My lens just broke so I am looking for a new one. but not quite sure what to get. I have been looking for a lens that that has at least a zoom of 35-80mm (the range can be more). Not an auto focus lens. and the f-stop can go to f2.8. I want to be able to change the f-stop to a higher number I just know I want it to be able to get to that. So any idea of specific lenses or places that I can search. thank you

You didn’t mention for what model of camera and that does make a difference so I’ll assume your camera is digital.

What do you mean your lens broke? How do you break a lens?

Okay - all lenses made for digital SLR cameras today are auto focus. All you do is turn the function off - the switch is on the lens. Also it’s going to more expensive (if that’s an issue) to get that lower f/stop. Most common lenses run about f/3.-something.

A good all around lens is an 18 or 28-200. It’s versatile because it’s wide at the bottom but has a pretty good reach. It will give you full control over f/stop and auto focus.

Here’s a good place to start your research.

Good zoom range, but not that fast (f3.5-f5.6) try the 18-200mm VR - useful for a lot of situations. IQ not the best but more than acceptable for non-pros. (?580)

Excellent general & portrait lens - 24-70mm f2.8 (?1,200)
Cheaper 24-85mm f2.8-f4 (?520)

Even better (but not cheap) 70-30mm f2.8 (?1,700)

World’s Fastest Indian, The (2005)

IMDB rating: 8.00

Plot: In `60s New Zealand, at the bottom of the world, Burt Munro takes a 1920 Indian motorcycle and, delightfully without resources other than his own obsession and a Kiwi #8 wire mentality, spends his retirement rebuilding the bike and following his dream to go to Speed Week at Salt Lake in Utah. Under funded, without the support of a team and against all the odds he not only makes it to Bonneville, he sets a world land spend record, not once, but again and again.

What does this dream i had about a tsunami mean?
I believe through my experiences that everyone has some sort of psychic ability there just are some that who are better at than others. Now, I’m not some quack ; I don’t call the psychic hot line,I have had several dreams that have come true in past and some that I really hope never do. Then again there are a lot of people believe that most dreams aren’t literal; that they have some kind of hidden meaning. Let me share with you one strange dream that most can probably link to a certain world event. "I dreamt that I was cheating on my girlfriend with this girl and I went to work with her which was one of those restaurants on a pier . " Now, keep in mind this girl I have never met in my life…Ok back to the dream" In my dream i could feel joy happiness she had a wonderful smile …. But then I remember i was standing right outside the restaurant on the deck that hung over the side of the pier and I started hearing a loud roaring sound then seeing a wall of water coming but it was moving to fast and i couldn’t get inside to get this girl out and the giant wave hit the building and ripped it apart like it was made out sawdust. I’m not sure how I survived in my dream but I did and in my dream it did not matter. All, I did was mourn the death of this girl but after a while of crying for this girl i finally look up and realized what had happened not only was the restaurant and pier gone but so was the whole countryside. By, now you can probably link this dream to a world event and probably think it was dreamt afterword but the truth is this dream occurred 2 days before the tsunami that originated in the Indian ocean in 2004.

Job 33 (Amplified Bible) 14For God [does reveal His will; He] speaks not only once, but more than once, even though men do not regard it [including you, Job]. 15[One may hear God's voice] in a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men while slumbering upon the bed,
16Then He opens the ears of men and seals their instruction [terrifying them with warnings],
Prophetic Dreams

Prophetic dreams, also referred to as precognitive or psychic dreams, are dreams that seemingly foretell the future. One rational theory to explain this phenomenon is that your dreaming mind is able to piece together bits of information and observation that you may normally overlook or that you do not seriously consider. In other words, your unconscious mind knows what is coming before you consciously piece together the same information
In a prophetic dream, you see the future through your dream. It is difficult to determine that a dream is prophetic because we can only confirm such a dream after it has taken place. Even then, we only hear of the success stories. There are so many other dreams that do not come true. Thus, prophetic dream may just be mere coincidences.

In the science world, it is believed that psychic powers do not exist. Scientists rationalize that dreams that seemingly come true may actually be a suggestion or guide for you to follow, thus
making it seem as if the dream is coming true. You are willing it to be true. Another argument is that you may have a tendency to self-edit your dream to match the outcome. Because dreams are so easily forgotten, your memory of the dream may not be accurate. Still another theory is that your dreaming mind is able to piece together bits of information faster that your conscious mind. Your mind is able to see what will happen based on information that it has already collected.

Still, there are believers that dreams can indeed predict or foretell the future. Prophetic dreams are linked to major disasters, wars, assassinations, accidents, lottery numbers or even with winning horse race. Such dreams have helped solve crimes. In history, Abraham Lincoln was said to have dreamt of his own body laying in a coffin two weeks before he his assassination. British engineer, John Dunne dreamt of the eruption of a volcano in France which came true.

Having a prophetic dreams suggests that you are experiencing anxiety and that you are expressing a desire for certainty in the future. You are looking to your dream to help you make an important decision or to reassure you that you are on the right path.

Steps to Improving Lucid Dreaming

1. Throughout the day, while you are awake, ask yourself, "Is this a dream?" anytime something odd happens or even when nothing out of the ordinary happens. The trick is not to answer the question with an immediate "Of course I am not dreaming!". Come up with a consistent way to check if you are awake or asleep. For example, checking the time on a clock and then quickly check it again. If you are dreaming, the time will always dramatically change at the second glance. Or, if you are reading something, look away and
then read it again. Again, if you dreaming, whatever you are reading will be completely different when you look at it the second time. As you keep asking yourself this question during the day, the question will become second nature. Eventually, you will automatically ask the question in your dreams. When you do your check to see if you are awake or asleep, you are well on your way to lucidity.

2. Utilize a counting method to enter lucidity. As you are laying down to go to sleep, start counting. One, I am dreaming. Two, I am dreaming. Three, I am dreaming. At some point, you will say, fifty-one, I am dreaming, and by then you are really dreaming.

3. Identify your dream signals. These are objects, images or actions in your dream that serve as cues or markers to let you know that you are dreaming. Anything can be a dream signal and is unique to each individual dreamer. It may help to read through your dream journal and select an image that constantly appears in your dreams. By selecting a recurring image, then it has a better chance of appearing in your future dreams. When you are ready for bed, tell yourself that "when I see an apple, then I know I am dreaming." or whatever dream signal you have chosen.

4. Use your dream signs to let you know that you are dreaming. When an anomaly or something impossible occurs in your dream, do not ignore it or try to rationalize it. Let this odd occurrence be an indicator that you are dreaming. Some common dream signs include flying, walking through walls or the appearance of someone who is dead in real life.

5. Finally, encourage your lucid dreams, but do not force them, as your efforts may have an opposite effect. You may use the above techniques in conjunction with one another. Tell yourself that you will have a lucid dream tonight. It is important to r

Hi,

Thanks for sharing this dream…
I too have dreams that are like this one. One of mine was that I was in a sky scraper building on one of the higher level office rooms. Was standing by a desk, when the whole building shook, I thought it was a earthquake, Looked over at the door and seen my daughter was on the phone, she said "Mom, Grandma said it’s going to be alright"! We started to walked down all these spiral type staircases, on and on they went. When we were almost to the bottom floor I see my Dad and my brother, they are all in some kind of fireman gear hat and all. I tell them, I don’t think it’s a good idea to go up there, they tell me "It’s our job, we have to".
When I got to the bottom floor, I see that there is like little shops, places you can buy clothes etc. at.
I don’t see my daughter anymore, so I head for the door, cause I have a bad feeling that this tall building is going to fall right down. It is snowing outside, I thought that was strange, cause I see a white picked fence with these red/red roses growing on it.
I realize that I didn’t make it out of the building alive, that I’m dead. I hear music in the distance, so I walk to the sound, I find myself at my own wake, and that family and friends can’t see me. I looked over and see that building that I was just in all rumbled down to the ground.
After having this dream I had told a couple of my sisters, it was so real, and even had wrote it down.
Then about a month later, 9/11 happened.
Even though in real life, I have never even been In New York City, just at the airport once.
So anyhow, thanks for sharing. Take care.

That is an amazing coincidence that you dreamt of a tsunami just before one happened! But the fact of the matter is that people dream of things like this all the time. I don’t think it was more than that because it sounds like you were in an American type setting (not India), and you didn’t have any specific details relating to the India tsunami. Your dream has a few psychological symbols in it though. Cheating on your gf in the dream means that you are having problems in a personal relationship. A natural disaster like a tsunami means that there is something happening that is completely out of your control, and you are not so happy about it. The death of the girl means a change. Looking around and seeing everything destroyed means that the change turns out to be a pretty major one.

To dream that you are cheating on your spouse, mate, fiance, or significant other, indicates that you have let yourself down in some way. You may have sacrificed your morals and ethics and received little or no benefits in return. It may also represent your increasing desires or fantasies regarding sex. Often, those who are about to enter into matrimony may dream about sensual encounters with other people. This may symbolize the anticipation or apprehension regarding this relationship.

To see a tsunami in your dream signals your being easily overwhelmed by unresolved feelings. You may be experiencing sadness and emotional stress in your waking life.

To see a tsunami in your dream, represents that you are being overwhelmed by some repressed feelings or unconscious material that is rising up to the surface. You are experiencing some unhappiness and emotional instability in some waking situation.

Will the Pope D'Angelo Dinero be The First African American to ever win a TNA World Title?
besides ..also It have been almost 4 years seeing an African American winning a heavyweight title since Booker T won it in 2006, …..

i did my research…. out of WWE and TNA in recent 4yrs , only there was one African American Champ…. but however ……….I think The Pope is going to be The First African American TNA heavyweight Champ….. even if it’s going to take him awhile…. he may not be ready yet…but however… His push is just working excellent now!!!…. :)

Well he wont be the first ever since Ron the Truth Killings has won the NWA world title twice when TNA was using it as its heavyweight title. But in the past four years like you said he would be the first and yeah he will eventually get it but I don’t think its going to be anytime in the near future if it happens this year it will be later into the year or its going to be next year. I think that AJ will have a pretty long reign as world champ.
Im Not Here (The Colony) | Feb 05, 2010

ACTUALLY RON KILLINGS WAS NEVER THE TNA CHAMPION, HE WAS THE NWA CHAMPION WHEN TNA WAS AN NWA TERRITORY CALLED NWA-TNA. HE’S NEVER HELD THE TITLE SINCE THE SEPARATED FROM THE NWA, SO TECHNICALLY THE POPE WOULD BE THE FIRST TNA WORLD CHAMPION, JUST NOT THE FIRST ONE IN THE COMPANY, IF HE WINS IT, THAT IS.

is a 4mm mole very dangerous?
hi i had a mole removed 2 days ago. it was pretty much flat, kind of like a beauty mark. they had to "punch it" out as they call it which is basically cut it out and stitched it back up. i was just curious if you guys think its serious. i know i’ll find out in a week or so but i’d like to have opinions. it was measured at just under 4 mm. it looked perfectly circular. the reason whys she took it out was because she said it had a bad nature to it and look kind of pigmented under the magnifying scope but not to the naked eye. i read online melanoma is usually bigger than 6 mm but i was just curious. please and thank you!

The vast majority of these are benign. Your doctor took it off to be safe
